Professor Romsics is an eminent Hungarian historian. He is a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Secretary of the Hungarian Historical Society. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including the Szechenyi Prize the highest scientific honour given by the Hungarian Government. He specializes in the history of 20th Century Hungary.

György Csáki is professor of international economics at Budapest College
of Management and at the Institute for European Studies at Szent István
University, Gödöllo", Hungary. A well-known expert in transition
economics, he has published extensively about international monetary affairs. His special research interest is privatization and state asset management. He has been a Board-member of several state-owned companies since 1995, including the State Property Agency, in 1996-1998. He was appointed chairman of the Board of Magyar Posta in July 2002.
