Hello everyone. I am working towards my 20 comments, and I am not sure I am doing it in the right way, I hope I don't offend anyone or barge in where I wasn't supposed to be. I was 52 on the 21st of March and I recently just finished tonight a rustic bunny for the new grandson that will be here very soon. I am also working on a Pug Lovey (as they have pug as a pet) I love to do all sorts of crafts. Crochet is my first love.

Hello. zuzsamama I am just dropping in to say hello and to ask you how long have you been crocheting and what is your favorite medium to work with? I love to work with all sizes, but I also love to work with thread doing mandalas I make into doily dream catchers. I never follow a pattern, I just have learned how to increase as I go, so none are ever the same, and that makes me very happy. Crochet gives me such a feeling of well being and I love to share with others

What type of work did you do? I have seen some spectacular things. In crochet I have never made a blanket, just small things, but I have made larger work in building and repurposing and painting on some windows that took much time to finish and the feeling of that finished work is so amazing, but the loose ends afterwards...what to do next is always a big question mark....

Hello I see your post about the wind was in January. It is March now. Here in America in the state of Iowa it is gray skies and brown yard with intermittent snow and rain storms. This is the time it is easy to get depressed, but crocheting spring things and making things for upcoming shows always helps me. I would like to know more about you. I love making new friends. I love to crochet amigurmi! I have four dogs and four cats and they all seem to get in on what I am doing. My husband and I have taken in misfit animals or displaced ones. I love your work, you do a fabulous job.

i hink YouTube is a fabulous learning aid. I tell people that I study at You Tube University and am a lifetime student. I think patterns are a wonderful learning aid as well, because having the basics is so important but also you can simply use as guide and put your own unique touches on them

i love to decorate and make things for our home. I love old things though and we have used old barnwood and corrugated steel in our home and recycled many things to make shelving from, etc.

As a parent I didnt think about these things, I just did what I had to do to survive and make sure they survived as well. I loved them dearly and did my best, as a grandmother I have more time to speculate and the wisdom to know what is most important. In today's world of everything being disposable, we teach our grandchildren that it doesn't have to be. I think the basics are faith, love, encouragement, and always joy.

It is not always easy. What are your thoughts about psychology?
